Why do you love your body?
Sponsored by Body by Victoria®from Victoria's Secret.
i love my body because it gave birth to my three children.
i cannot say
that i am one of those people
that "only gained 20 pounds and it was all baby".
i gained fifty pounds and lost it three times.
i gave birth to babies that were all well over
8 and a half pounds
"naturally"
and i breastfed with two parts
that had become an entity to themselves.
i didn't immediately get back into shape
and i didn't feel a need to,
i wasn't a victoria's secret model
and they didn't sell nursing bras anyways,
still don't
how about that for a marketing idea?
i had given birth and the babies were all that mattered,
i see these mommy makeovers
plastic surgery
breasts lifted, tummy tucked, liposculpting
and by the way
can i interest you in labiaplasty?
no thanks, had enough sutures there already,
yes, i have scars and i have stretch marks
and now at 44 i wear a bikini
and my body is not a 20 year olds
and my face is not a 20 year olds
and i love it
and i don't love it everyday
because i look in the mirror and
i don't see a perfect image,
we all have those down days,
but this is what it looks like
because my body gave birth to my three children
and i love them.
